I had read the two previous novels in this series, and this was a great ending! Characters well-developed. Great for young adults and anyone interested in good, clean, Christian reading! Highly recmd it for all!

I love the voice of the writing in this book. I would love to go back and read Saving Sailor since I started with this one. The characters in the series are really great and you can share the main characters emotions as she goes through the ups and downs of her life.
Written without much depth, background, or details, and seemed pointless. The story flits from one activity to another; and I'm left with no visual of the characters, or any feel for the Italian culture. I feel the title is misleading, as I was expecting some major change or accomplishment with regards to a move to Italy.
I can only say how "warm" I feel from spending time with A.J.! Not only did she carry me back to my own memories of childhood, but her solid faith reminded me, as an adult, where my focus needs to be. Thank you, thank you, thank you! Even middle-aged, I will cherish these books! In fact - I'm going to next to see about buying the paper version vs. . I feel like I've been reenergized to go back into the "world"!

Renee Riva has a profoundly philosophical mind, a poet's skill with words, intense appreciation for all life, hilarious, engaging humor, and is a true artist of rare brilliance. This author is astonishing in her craft as she distills profundity as a sculptor refines his medium leaving the essence she also focuses the reader on the essential, the valuable.

You do not want to miss exploring this author's writings!
After reading Saving Sailor I couldn't wait to read the next in the series. Any fan of Junie B Jones will love this! I called it a Christian Junie B Jones. They way Ms. Riva intertwines God with this young girls daily life is so natural and real. I also loved the way she expresses herself that while not quite sarcastic is a bit "off" from the norm. Another thing I appreciated was though she had a crush on a boy as is typical of that age, this wasn't a romantic novel. I'm excited to read "Coming home" next. Loved it!!!!
