If you are looking for a semi kinky, unrealistic fantasy this book is for you. I really wanted to like this book! The forbidden fantasy, the taboo, but the writing was just not there. It was so far into a fantasy straight out of someones naughty dreams that I couldn't get into it. There's little detail, even in the sexual scenes that it just became boring. It was also very unrealistic:*spoilers ahead*
Okay, so many a people have had that I'm so horny let's forget about protection experience. But, I don't know a female alive who continues to have unprotected sex for over a month and never manages to a) ask the partner to wear protection b) get plan b and c) not do something so reckless in the future encounters and d) have concern over it. Not to mention, Paul is suppose to be older, mature and responsible. If he apparently builds a construction business up so well he sold if for millions (again very unrealistic) he certainly would be smart enough to ask about birth control or other forms of protection. He rejects her and says they can't be together and then five minutes later he is stalking her in the parking lot. If he was going so far as to watch her, why would he not be a good boy scout and have a condom JUST IN CASE? Then we continue with the way her parents reacted. As a mother, I know if my daughter were to tell me she is pregnant with her dads best friends baby, my first thoughts would be this dude is a pedophile. Every mother in their right mind would question and look back on how this person acted with their child while they were under age. They would ask how long this has been going on, demand answers, wonder if their daughter has a daddy complex. A mother is going to want assurances that this was something that happened once your child was an adult etc etc, not be omg I'm gonna be a grandma!
I would have really liked this book if it were long enough to develop a better story. The concept was there, the start of it was hot and all kinds of right, but then it went down hill from there.

The story started off great but as it continued to progress I thought it would be more. The way things happened with her getting pregnant so fast and the parents questioning where a grown man was for the night was could've over the top. I thought the dad and mother would've react more to hearing about his best friend getting his young daughter pregnant. That really surprised me.
I really enjoyed this book! There was the taboo issue of the older, friend of dad, yet there was a relationship between the H and h beyond just the sex. Yeah, there was the issue of birth control, or lack thereof, but there are very few books that don't make me suspend disbelief for a while in order to enjoy. The story moved along so that it wasn't a huge issue for me.
This was a great sexy novella. The older man & the college student who has been in lust with him. But can it transfer to love & what happens when the older man is your dads best friend?!
Rachel is 21 and comes from a wealthy family. Paul is her fathers best friend who I think is in a bromance together. Rachel has had a crush on Paul since she was a teenager, she was always into older guys. This book is cute. It's written well but not great. The parents don't blow up at her when they find out that her and Paul are dating. If you want a short read check the book out.
Best Friend's daughter, she is suppose to be off limits but when she texts you that she wants you what's Paul to do. Well he is determined to see if she really has feels for him like what he has for her. Yes this is a taboo relationship but when loves involved should that stop you. I enjoyed this hot read.
This book was exactly what I was looking for - something short and sweet with some super hot sexy times. This was light on the angst and high on the steam. It was a quick book and my only complaint was that there was no epilogue. Looking forward to reading more by this author.
I had such high hopes for this book. Unfortunately, those expectations were not met. Don't get me wrong...it's not the worst book I've read, but it definitely was not the best either. Simply put, it was just okay.
There wasn't really much substance to the story. Granted, it's a very short novella, which makes character development and even plot development difficult, but it was just so bland and very, very rushed. There was no angst. No palpable chemistry between the characters either. Some scenes jumped from one moment to the next so fast, my head kinda spun. I felt really short-changed at times too.
Overall, I'd say this book wasn't for me, but if you're looking for something super quick and steamy, then this might be a story for you to consider.
